
The Curriculum Committee is a key academic body responsible for planning, reviewing, and improving the curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and the evolving needs of students and society.
The committee works collaboratively with faculty members, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop a curriculum that promotes academic excellence, innovation, and skill development. Its responsibilities include reviewing course content, recommending curriculum revisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and fostering continuous quality improvement in teaching and learning.
The aim of the curriculum committee shall be to approve new and revised curriculum and academic policies to ensure compliance with Kerala university of Health sciences and the Indian Nursing Council.
Objectives
- Plan, modify and evaluate UG and PG nursing curriculum.
- Systematically evaluate the professional education requirements for the curriculum.
- Implement regular ongoing formal evaluation of the curriculum as specified in the College of Nursing evaluation plan.
- Review and approve requests for adding, deleting, and or modifying individual nursing curriculum activities.
