Research cell Samaritan college of Nursing

The Research Cell of the college is committed to promote a culture of scientific inquiry and evidence-based nursing practice among faculty and students. Regular research and journal club activities are conducted to enhance research skills, critical appraisal abilities, and the application of current evidence in clinical practice.

Research Activities

Faculty and students actively undertake research projects in various nursing specialties.

Research proposals are reviewed and guided through the Institutional Research Committee.

Workshops and seminars on research methodology, biostatistics, scientific writing, and publication ethics are organized periodically.

Faculty and students present research papers and posters at state and national conferences.

Research findings are published in peer-reviewed journals.

Journal Club Activities

Journal club meetings are conducted on monthly basis to critically appraise recent research articles.

Faculty members present current evidence from national and international journals.

Discussions focus on research methodology, statistical analysis, clinical relevance, and implications for nursing practice.

These sessions promote evidence-based practice and encourage lifelong learning among nursing professionals.
