The Graduation Ceremony of the 20th Batch of Samaritan College of Nursing was held on 23 May 2026 at the Samaritan Hospital Auditorium. The ceremony commenced at 10:30 a.m.
The programme began with an invocation. The guest of the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Sr. Mercilline Principal of Samaritan College of Nursing , Rev. Sr. Tharaka, Director of Samaritan Institutions , Capt. Biju T. Varghese, Principal, Euro Tech Maritime Academy, Pazhanganad , Prof. Dr. Mrs. Rohini T., Principal, Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research, Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery , Rev. Dr. Vimal Francis, Associate Director, Lourdes Hospital, Ernakulam and Dr. Mereena George, Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon, Samaritan Hospital.
The programme concluded with the recession.

Report on Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the 23rd Batch of B.Sc. Nursing Students The Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the 24 th batch of B.Sc. Nursing students was conducted on 24th January 2026 at 10:00 AM in the SCON Auditorium.
The lamps were lighted to students by Prof. Dr.Sr. Sajeena SD, Vice Principal of SCON, and Rev. Sr. Starly SD, Assistant Nursing Superintendent of Samaritan Hospital.Following the lamp lighting, Prof. Dr. Sr. Mary E. L., Principal of SCON, administered the oath of the nursing profession to the students.
The ceremony also included a felicitation segment, where distinguished guests shared their thoughts and extended their best wishes to the students. Rev. Fr. Lidhin addressed the gathering with inspiring words, encouraging the students to serve with love and humility.
Sr. Tharaka, Director of Samaritan Institutions, emphasized the importance of dedication and discipline in nursing practice. Mrs. Juby Ann Cherian, Lecturer at SCON, also felicitated the students, motivating them to strive for excellence.
